Ellsworth High School is proud to announce our Class of 2026 Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Choice Speakers!
Kaylee Bagley - Valedictorian
Kaylee Bagley is graduating with a 101.74 grade point average over her four year career at Ellsworth High School. She took twenty Honors, Advanced Placement, Concurrent Enrollment and Early College classes. Kaylee will graduate with a STEM Academy Diploma in the Medical Pathway and has earned 27 college credits. She was the Maine Principal’s Association Principal’s Award winner and had many other academic and school awards. Kaylee also played four years of varsity soccer, basketball and softball and was named captain in all three sports her senior year. She has also been recognized for conference awards in all three sports including First Team All Big East in basketball. Kaylee is the daughter of Shawn and Christine Bagley of Hancock and she will attend the University of Tampa to study Biochemistry/Pre-Med.
Jovi Nightingale - Salutatorian
Jovi Nightingale is graduating with a 101.61 grade point average over her four year career at Ellsworth high School. Jovi took sixteen Honors, Advanced Placement and Concurrent Enrollment classes. She is graduating with over 25 college credits. Jovi was selected to represent Ellsworth High School at the Maine Youth Leadership Conference and has since been on their board. She was a member of the Math Team and Robotics Team but her true passion was on stage singing and acting where she shined, being in multiple theatre productions and was selected for All State Chorus three times. Jovi is from Blue Hill and is the daughter of Brad Nightingale, Rachel Nightingale, Megan Nightingale and Peter Belinsky. She will study Commercial Music and Business at Liberty University.
Molly Smith - Choice Speaker, Graduation
Molly is graduating from Bridge Academy where she earned over 20 college credits and she earned her CNA license. She is a four time state champion in winter cheering and also played soccer. Molly is also the co-President of Hancock County Technical Center’s National Technical Honor Society chapter. She has her own photography business, and can be seen at a lot of our EHS sporting events.
Cooper Mitchell - Choice Speaker, Class Night
Cooper was the EHS soccer goalkeeper the last four years and played tennis for four years. He was a captain for both teams his senior year. Cooper was a 1st team All PVC soccer selection and a Northern Maine Class B Regional All Star selection. He also received the YMCA Teddy Saunders award. Cooper completed the Law Enforcement program at Hancock County Technical Center.
