The cafe was full of flavor, sombreros, and festive spirit yesterday as students and staff gathered for the 4th Annual EHS Guacamole Contest! Held on Cinco de Mayo again, the beloved tradition brought out the competitive edge—and culinary skills—of our entire school community.
This year, six talented contestants, both staff and students, stepped up to the plate, each bringing their own unique twist to the classic avocado dip! Our panel of five awesome volunteer judges had the tough (but delicious) job of crowning this year's champion – and handing out the Golden Avocado!

The guac wasn't the only thing smashing this year—we also made a smash on local television! Both of our local news stations stopped by to cover the delicious festivities. A special shoutout to Mrs. Kutny and Mr. Berry, who brought some serious Hollywood star power and absolutely shined on camera!

Congratulations to Jerry Hardie for taking home the top prize this year – but now he’s got a big task defending his crown next year! Thank you to everyone who participated, judged, and helped organize another successful and flavorful Cinco de Mayo celebration at EHS!
