Aside from the show -- the Theatre of the Mad Jesters will be partnering with the Hancock County SPCA during the entire run! Few people realize that Snoopy was a rescue dog, so we are partnering with the SPCA of Hancock County to feature a "pet profile" of an adoptable dog at their shelter before each show. All of the blankets and dog bowls that are props in the show will be donated to them once the run is over, too!

In addition, the benches in the show are "buddy benches" with the handprints of the cast and crew. We felt like this was an incredibly appropriate addition to themes in the show and a great way to support Charles Schultz's mission! When the show is over, we will be keeping one permanently in the auditorium and donating the other to the Friends of Rachel club at EHS whose mission is to promote kindness and inclusion. A buddy bench is a creatively designed bench in or outside a school where a child can go if they want someone to talk to.
