EEMS Chess Club Notice Chess club for grades 5-8 is set to start Jan. 19 for the gray cohort and Jan. 20 for the maroon cohort. Fully remote students should contact Mr. Wood at the email below to be assigned to a cohort. Chess club will meet in the MS art room from 2:35-3:45 on their assigned days. Please be sure to pick up your child by 3:45. The yellow chess permission forms are located outside of Mr. Wood's office in his mailbox. Be sure to bring them signed on your first night of practice. Friday--Will be a late pick up, Bus# 4 will pick up bus# 7 starting in town around 7:20-7:25 and then head out the Surry Road. It will be about 10 to 15 minutes later than usual. Dear Bus 7 Parents, We have to make some adjustments to the bus transportation schedule. Wednesday, January 13 Pick up: Bus 4 will need to do two runs to complete the pick up run. Students on Bus 7 will be picked up 10 minutes later than the scheduled time by Bus 4. Drop off: No changes. Thursday, January 14 Pick Up: Bus 4 will need to do two runs to complete the pick up run. Students on Bus 7 will be picked up 10 minutes later than the scheduled time by Bus 4. Drop off: Bus 7 students will be dropped off late.

NOTICE: EEMS (Grades 6-8) Tryouts and practices for basketball and practice for cheering: Starting Jan 4th all students (from both cohorts and remote only)-that want to tryout for basketball or participate in cheering-will start practicing/trying out together weekly-Monday through Thursday. For the days students are remote learning and for remote only learners: Please show up to practice no more than 10 minutes before your scheduled practice. You may enter the building and proceed to the MS library to wait for your tryout/practice. You must be wearing a mask and maintain 6 feet of social distance while waiting for tryouts/ practices to begin. Remember to bring your appropriate gear and your own water bottle. Parents are still not allowed in the building, but may wait in the parking lot for their child to leave practice.
