Fall Sports Meeting
August 8 at 6:00 p.m.
All students wishing to participate in any of the following should attend with a parent/guardian:
Soccer, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Volleyball, Football Cheering
Information will be given on the school’s athletic policies and procedures at this meeting. Fall game schedules and preseason schedules will be available. All fall sports will begin on
**New this year, all permission slips and forms will be filled out online.
As a reminder students need a physical every year. If your athlete has not had a physical in the last year please schedule them one for as soon as possible. If they have had a physical in the last year please either email me a copy of the doctor’s note or have one faxed to the school: 667-5027
If you are unable to attend the meeting please pick up copies of the athletic policy and schedules in the the main office after August 8.
There will also be a Sports Booster Club meeting directly following the parent/player meeting in the library at approximately 7:00 pm. All parents are invited to stay and find out more information on how they can help the booster club during this fall’s sporting events.

The Ellsworth School Department Board believes that student co-curricular programs are an integral part of high school education and are used as a means of developing wholesome attitudes and good interpersonal relations as well as knowledge and skills.
Ellsworth High School Athletic Department Mission Statement
The mission of the Ellsworth High School Athletic Department is to provide athletic programs that help develop the whole child through education and competition, to stimulate a lasting attitude of discipline, sportsmanship, integrity, leadership and social responsibility. To provide a rigorous athletic program which complements and supports a challenging academic program by teaching student-athletes to persevere, to work well with others, and to test themselves. The EHS Athletic Department strives to build competitive athletic programs that act as an enduring source of pride for the student population, student-athletes, alumni and members of the Ellsworth Community.
